The Business School at Nile University is seeking qualified applications for vacant faculty positions in Finance and Economics, at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level. Selected applicants will be teaching in the MBA and undergraduate Business programs, participate in the school's executive training activities and maintain an active and continuous research and publication record. Relevant practical experience in business and work/travel in the Middle East is an added asset.

Term of Appointment
Two or three year appointment on a tenure track position starting September 2008. Renewal of contract is subject to appointed faculty performance and school needs. Applicants must submit, electronically or by mail the following documents:

(1) A completed Nile University faculty application form.

(3) If selected for an interview, the applicant will be asked to submit names and contact information of three references that are familiar with his/her academic qualifications and experience.

School of Communication & Information Technology (CIT)

CIT School at Nile University invites applications from outstanding candidates for several tenure-track positions in the School of Communication and Information Technology. While we are happy to consider candidates in all areas, the school is particularly seeking strong candidates in the following areas: communication, signal processing, networking, electronics, software engineering, security, and informatics. Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree and outstanding academic credentials. Successful candidates will be expected to develop a vigorous externally-funded research program, show leadership and excellence in academic and scholarly activities, and demonstrate a commitment to excellent teaching at the graduate level.

(3) statement of research plans in the context of prior research accomplishments,
(4) brief statement of teaching philosophy, and

له خبرة لا تقل عن 5 سنوات في التصميم والإشراف علي تنفيذ الأعمال الكهروميكانيكية .

2-  مهندس معماري "   Architect"                             كود رقم ( 4102 ) 

له خبرة لا تقل عن 5 سنوات في التصميم والإشراف علي تنفيذ الأعمال والتشطيبات المعمارية .

3. IT System Engineer (Code: 4155)

 Qualifications:

  1. BSc. of Communications, Computer Engineering or Computer Science from a reputable Institution.
  2. Minimum acceptable grade: Good.
  3. 3 years of experience in the field.
  4. Good command of the English language.

 Required Experience:

  1. Windows environment (Windows 2003 servers, Windows XP and Windows Vista).
  2. UNIX environment (SUN Solaris, Linux)
  3. Network infrastructure (LAN/WAN installation and troubleshooting).

4. Administrative Assistant:                                    (Code: 2151)

  1. Performs a wide variety of typing assignments which are sometimes confidential in nature.

  2. Operates personal computer to enter data, draft, edit, revise and print letters, tables, reports, and other materials. 

  3. Provides administrative / secretarial support for the department

  4. Establishes, maintains, and updates files, databases, records.

  5. Arranges meetings and conferences, edits and distributes agendas and minutes of meetings, schedules appointments.

  6. Orders, stocks, and distributes office supplies.

  7. Performs basic, routine bookkeeping functions, which may involve simple billing and cash receipt activities.

Basic Qualifications

  1. University degree. 

  2. 2 – 4 years experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified in large or same field related company.

  3. Languages skills: Fluent in English “written, read, and spoken”

  4. Computer: skills: Has a wide knowledge of MS Office, Windows and the Internet:

  5. Word processing and data entry, Ms Excel, Ms Power Point.

5. Research Center Administrative Assistant            (Code: 2151 RC)

  1. Performs general office duties.

  2. Prepares correspondence, records, reports, and other documents.

  3. Organizes and maintains records, correspondences, and files.

  4. Arranges meetings, seminars, visits, and travel.

  5. Performs special assignments.

  6. Operates office equipments and utilizes information technology systems.

6. Executive Assistant to V.P. for Research & and Chief Research Officer.   (Code 2151 ERC)

  1. Performs general office duties.

  2. Prepares correspondences, records, reports, and other documents.

  3. Organizes and maintains records, correspondence and files.

  4. Arranges meetings, seminars, visits, and travel.

  5. Perform special assignments.

  6. Operates office equipment and utilizes information technology systems.

  7. Works with others and serves as liaison.

  8. Performs as administrative assistant to V.P of Research & CRO.

Basic Qualifications (Position 5 and 6)

  1. 5+ years experience in a same position.

  2. University degree.

  3. Fluent in written, spoken and read English.

  4. Computer literate, using all MS office applications.

 

7. Librarian   (Code 8001)

  1. The incumbent performs original and copy cataloging and adapts online records for print & non-print materials and for monographs & serials in Arabic & English.
  2. Searching bibliographic utilities for bibliographic and authority records.
  3. Scanning journals, bibliographies and the internet for pertinent new titles and acquisition sources for Nile University Library
  4. Preparing purchase orders for library materials.
  5. Checking in books online and sorts incoming materials into appropriate cataloging.
  6. Charging and renews books and materials loans for library users using automated library system.
  7. Assembles and compiles a variety of information data for reports, studies and other purposes.
  8. Developing bibliographic lists in fields of interest for Nile University
     

Basic Qualifications

1.       B.A. degree in Library Science is required

2.       At least three years of working in an academic or research institution involved in cataloging work

3.       Good Working Knowledge in English is required
