Center for Research & Development

Nile University will serve as a beacon of innovation with a goal to accelerate development, transfer, and implementation of technology to the public and private sectors, thereby enhancing the research and development (R&D) capabilities of local industry and improving their international competitiveness. The Center for Research and Development will focus on developing collaborative large-scale interdisciplinary research and create strong partnerships with government and industry.  It aims at:

·        Advancing innovation.

·        Attracting research projects and grants in targeted areas of research that impact the local and regional economies.

·        Helping faculty and students bridge the gap between research and applications.

·        Linking local and regional industries with Nile University.

·        Leveraging the limited resources available to small and medium companies for needed R&D activities.
