Standard of Ethical Performance and Behavior

All members of the Nile University community – professors, students, and staff – are expected to uphold the highest standards of professional ethics and integrity, demonstrated by, among other things, and truthfulness in all that they say and do. The Academic Committee may initiate the academic evaluation process described below, when confronted with evidence of unethical conduct.

Nile University seeks to maintain a tone of professionalism on campus by asking that professors, students and staff comport and express themselves in a manner appropriate to the professional setting in which they find themselves. This means dressing, speaking and treating common property in ways that show respect for the larger Nile University community. As such, all members of that community will strive to maintain a professional appearance.

Out of respect for professors and classmates, students must refrain from eating, drinking and smoking in class, and walking out of class in the middle of the session, except in extraordinary circumstances. Students with reason to leave the classroom before a session ends must notify the professor before it begins.
